Beautiful architecture. Slightly upscale. Prices are high for the food quality. I liked the sweet potato and my steak sandwich had good steak but was overpowered by the bread. Salad was good lettuce, ranch dressing was top notch. My husbands $29 porterhouse was thin and overcooked. They have Potential but need work.

First time here and it was really good! The restaurant was very elegant and modern looking. The staff were attentive and nice during our visit which is great. I had the porterhouse steak and it was well prepared and well seasoned. Overall, I would come back again and eat here. The location is small but I hear that they are making it bigger which is what they need. Only negative thing is that it took awhile for the food to come out but it still tasted delicious.

Atmosphere was very nice especially for Hartwell. Unfortunately I have issues with the food versus price. It's very pricey especially for what you get. $27 for a thin overcooked steak is a bit much. Sure, it was tender but I suspect most meats here are cooked sous vide then flamed prior to serving... No thanks.

We had a reservation for 4 at a table, waited 8 minutes to be seated, then we're asked to move (had 2 elderly parents). Then waited 5 minutes to get wine we ordered, 10 minutes for salads, then another 15 minutes to get our steaks not cooked rare but one medium and one medium rare. Also, the reason we were asked to move due to reservations for 7 coming in, but instead another waiter sat a couple in the spot we were originally in. The staff had no groove tonight and no smiles. Very disappointing and my in-laws are locals. Won't be back here for awhile.

Food definitely better than other places in Hartwell. Great to have a nice restaurant/bar in the area. Server delivered wrong food, but then brought out correct food, all with good cheer. Trout was rather fishy. Cesar salad dressing tasted like it came out of a jar. Management's attitude definitely needs an adjustment.
